CanCham PRD Meet and Greet with New CG

November 9 2023 (Thursday), CanCham PRD and the Consulate General in Guangzhou invited CanCham PRD members and VIP guests to an intimate meet and greet with the new Consul General of Canada in Guangzhou, Behzad Babakhani.

2023年11月9日（星期四），珠三角加拿大商会和加拿大驻广州领事馆成功举办了欢迎新任总领事 Behzad Babakhani 阁下的欢迎会。我们也非常荣幸地邀请到了众多会员和贵宾朋友们参与此次见面会。

Attendees had the chance to hear directly from the new Consul General and better understand the priorities, goals and perspectives of the Canadian mission in China regarding Canadian business in the region.

Following prepared remarks and a Q&A session with Consul General Babakhani, there was a networking session with CanCham PRD members as well as local partners and Canadian government representatives.

本次活动中，总领事阁下分享了加拿大驻华领事馆对于在加拿大在华商务合作方面的优先和关注事项、计划内目标及观点想法的展望。嘉宾们得以面对面直接聆听并深入了解。

在与总领事的问答环节中，大家踊跃发言，分享想法，总领事阁下积极地回答了所有在场参会者的提问。珠三角加拿大商会的会员们和其合作伙伴也与加拿大政府代表们进行了深入交流。

This meet and greet was hosted by CamCham PRD at the Canadian Consulate General in Guangzhou. Both organizations were thrilled to have friends from the international business community as well as our company members join the event for an exciting and dynamic day.

This event was a great chance for the CanCham PRD community to formally welcome Consul General Babkhani to Guangzhou.

In his opening speech, CanCham PRD President Cameron Turnbull issued a warm welcome to the new CG on behalf of all the member companies and wished him nothing but success in his new role. 

本次见面会是由加拿大驻广州总领事馆与珠三角加拿大商会联合主办。来自国际商界的朋友和我商会的企业会员们非常愉快地参与了这次活动，共同度过了激动人心、充满活力的一天。
